RF39A
BLE remote · Smart TV / OTT
The long BLE handset: full key set, no voice, no air mouse.
What this platform is for
RF39A is the long-format BLE handset: 230 mm of key surface, for platforms that want a full key set and a large target area. We specify it for EMEA and US TV and OTT platforms.
No microphone and no air mouse. It is the stable, low-cost BLE option for programs that need neither — and the shape most operators already have in the field.
Radio and interaction
- Radio: RF plus BLE, range ≥15 m.
- No voice input and no air mouse.
- Chip platform: Telink 8251.
What can change per program
- Length and key layout — the long body carries the platform's full key set, with room for a source row.
- Key map — key count, legend, and the functions behind each key are defined per program.
- Firmware — a configured build for your platform, or a BSP and driver layer for your own application team.
- Appearance — logo, silkscreen, paint, plating or texture, and the retail packaging.
- Certification — CE, FCC, UKCA, KCC or TELEC are scoped to the final configuration and market.
Ranges are platform values for the reference build. The figure that applies to your product is confirmed on the test line and written into the datasheet.

Program
From this platform to your product.
Four steps, the same for every model. Durations depend on how far the key map and housing move from the baseline.
Scope
Key map, radio set, market and certification. This is where a datasheet gets specific.
Sample
A unit built to the agreed configuration, so the hand feel and the key layout can be judged on a desk.
Validation
Range, key life, drop and cleaning checks, plus an EMC pre-scan before the certification lab.
Production
Test specification, fixtures and packaging, released with the approved specification.
The stage-by-stage sequence is set out in Prototype to Production.
