Who we are

This site is operated by Shenzhen Serow Electronics Co., Ltd. (“Serow”, “we”), a custom remote control OEM/ODM supplier based in Shenzhen, China. For privacy questions, write to peter.sun@serow-tech.com.

What this site collects

This is a static website. It does not run analytics, advertising or tracking scripts, and it does not set cookies.

Project inquiry form. The form runs in your browser and prepares an email draft. Nothing is sent to this website or stored on it. The information reaches us only if you send the email from your own mail app.
Email correspondence. If you email us, we receive your address, name and whatever you choose to include, such as company details, device lists or protocol documents.
Hosting logs. Our hosting provider may record standard request data (IP address, browser type, requested page, time) for security and availability. We do not use these logs to profile visitors.

Why we use it

To answer an inquiry and prepare a quotation or scope.
To run an active project, including technical and commercial communication.
To meet legal, tax and record-keeping obligations.
To protect the site and our systems against abuse.

Legal basis

Where the EU or UK GDPR applies, we rely on your request to take steps before entering a contract, performance of a contract, our legitimate interest in responding to business inquiries, and legal obligation where record-keeping is required.

Sharing

We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that help us operate (for example email and hosting providers), with project partners where necessary to deliver a program and under confidentiality, or where required by law. International transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards where required.

Retention

Inquiry correspondence is kept while the commercial relationship is active and for a reasonable period afterward. Project records, quotations and test documents are kept for the period required by contract and applicable law. You can ask us to delete inquiry correspondence that did not lead to a project.

Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may ask for access to your personal data, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing. Write to peter.sun@serow-tech.com and we will respond within the period required by law. You may also complain to your local data protection authority.

Documents sent to us

Drawings, protocol documents and samples are treated as confidential business information. We prefer to sign a mutual NDA before receiving detailed technical documents. Do not send personal data that is not needed for the project.

Changes

If this notice changes, the effective date above is updated. Material changes affecting an active project will be communicated directly.
